Trying to find out fitment for my legacy with a tdo4 and erx intercooler.. what will fit?

What year intercooler? The 06-07 fit with the GC8 OEM STB, but the 02-05 hit the firewall so pretty much nothing fits.

I guess i should have done that before. I was looking at swapping out for a foredter xt intercooler. The wrx intercooler is a shoehorn fit!

I'd take the bigger/better intercooler over having a strut tower brace.

Agreed. The tower braces do essentially NOTHING besides make working on your car absurdly annoying:/ they look cool though.

ok, i'm just trying to stiffen the front end up, lot of body creaks and pops in the front end/cowl area

I have ran with and without a strut brace and the front end feels much more solid with one. My 00 impreza didnt feel any different.
