Here we go!

I have been a Subaru fan since I was able to drive, growing up in the pacific NW didn't help the urge either. I am the proud owner of now three legacys. A built 2005 Legacy 2.5GT, DD 1997 Legacy Birghton Wagon, and my new/old 1993 Legacy Sport Sedan. All of my friends had WRXs and STis but I wanted something different. I had been pushed internally to try to out do them by building my 05 to the point of unreliable. Blouch 20GXT, built block, full Suspension, loud external, and plans to make it crazier still. I had purchased another legacy to DD that I ended up falling in love with and then it happened.....my GT spun a rod bearing. It started to remind me how much I loved older obd1 cars and how simple they were and the really fit what I wanted in a car. The search began for the perfect SS and rebuilding my GT.

I made a deal with wtdash for his SS in Idaho and for all intensive purposes, the car was perfect. The few mods that were done made it perfect and I wanted a mostly stock legacy with zero rust and a good history. It has receipts like no other car I've ever seen and meticulously taken care of. I just picked it up today and now the journey begins to drive it back to Southern California from Idaho.

Here are a couple photos of my other cars and some pics of parts and parts list of what I've already purchased for the SS.

Stay tuned :)

Glad Todd's car went to a good home. I wondered if the new owner would make it on here. Good looking set of cars you have there.

Welcome to the BBS.

One comment for you based on the list of parts you have
EJ25D Fuel Rails
If you plan to keep the ej22t manifold, these rails will not work. You can pick up a set of 92-94 non-turbo Legacy fuel rails. They bolt in to the ej22t intake manifold and will accept the yellow STi 550 cc/min injectors.

Take a look at some of the threads in the stickies in the various forums. There is a lot of info out there.

Ya thanks

I realize they are EJ22 fuel rails not EJ25D

I sold the Invidia downpipe and agency power headers I had because I felt they were not a great fit for my build. Want to keep it OEM+ STi or direct fitment. I found a very expensive deal on a full MRT turbo back exhaust that's made specific for 1 gen legacy. I have found a full setup on an OEM water to air Intercooler but I haven't decided of I'm going to do that or a V1/V2 slant intercooler. Need to find a writeup for the AWIC.

I have to do some rear filling on the rear hooks for the seat because they sit high. But other then that they fit well.

Those brembos are going on this car! Nice to see you're on the forum.

I really want to start a legacy specific meet but I just don't think there is enough cars in California to do it.

Small update today

Installed STi Shifter Suround and a LGT leather boot, I'll have to do some more trimming of the plastic but you frankly can't tell. I have my new 5mt STi leather shift knob coming in tomorrow.

Image

Finally installed my WRX pedal set I had laying around and the STi steering wheel.

Image

I'm thinking of using fabric paint on the door cards to get rid of the confetti look.

Got the Grimmspeed Brake Master Cylinder Brace and Kartboy pitch stop mount to sit perfect with zero issues like it was made for the car.
