Is there a reason there are different brake light switches between models with cruise and without? Rockauto has a switch for $2.82 without cruise, but the cheapest one with cruise is $25.89...

To answer your question, there is a different switch because there are two different switches in the brake switch for cruise control cars. One goes to the cruise control and the other operates the brake lights.
