1993 legacy l 5speed clutch cable
So my clutch cable broke and I replaced it, noticing a Mich better shift overall. But I notice a more noticeable grab during shift is that normal or is it needing adjustment still? Its not making noise or jerking the car, just more noticeable when grabbing...I put it in myself
Re: 1993 legacy l 5speed clutch cable
If anyone needs help/advice on how to change it, ask it up!

How did you adjust the cable tension?
Can you elaborate what you mean by "more noticeable when grabbing"?

I just put it in to where it stayed by itself and then since it was just me I backed it off until the shifting was smooth and the clutch didn't make the car do anything dramatic. And its like I push the clutch in, select a gear, let off the clutch, and there I feel like a jolt minutely though. Before (I believe it was out if adjustment because I like it now) it wouldn't do that.

When I installed a new clutch and flywheel in my cable-clutch based impreza I got the grabbiness for a couple weeks till it settled down. I might have had the cable too tightly adjusted, but it didn't cause me any drivability issues, just a minor annoyance. I'd give the cable a little more play if it bugs you.
