So my ebrake handle stopped working, I took it apart and found the cable snapped where it connects to the handle.

Is there anyway to fix the cable? Like a way to re connect the broken part? Or do I need to run a whole new one from a donor car... Grrrr

Duct tape solves all.

On a more serious note, running ebrake cables isnt that hard. Shop time for an E30's cable is 6 hours, but my buddy and I did his in 45 minutes. Not sure if you've messed with the ebrake at the hub at all before, but I've opened up this one a few times and would gladly offer up any help needed.

The cable you have in your hand is short and it connects the two cables into one. I would grab one from a salvage yard, it just under the console.

I've also changed my e-brake cables I would say 11/2 hours.

Yeah I realize now it's the small cable that connects to the others, so that should be easy to replace! Thankfully
