So I built a bit of a Frankenstein and I'm trying to figure out a simple tuning without going stand alone

Car runs and drives great but gets 150 miles to a tank and has some stutter issues lol

Na-t ej22 1991 legacy

I found a ej22t ecu for sale and was trying to find out if it would be plug and play

Delta 220 cams
Custom made intake
Forester tmic
TD04 turbo
92 ss turbo manifold
02 wrx downpipe to straight pipe all the way back
Custom steel braided oil feed line by Williams oil filter
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
manual boost controller
Greddy typeS knock off with custom diaphragm
oil catch can
92 ss intake manifold
92 ss Pink injectors
92 ss iacv

Thanks, Eric

The ej22t ECU needs the addition of a few turbo sensors, cam and crank signal wires switched and a turbo MAF.

This should educate you as to what needs to be done. http://legacycentral.org/library/ECU_Landscape.htm

Due to the higher compression of the non-turbo engine that may cause you some issues in terms of timing. However, you can use an aftermarket add-on ignition system like the higher end DIS-2 models or similar to pull timing. This might work if you can reference the load (MAF or possibly MAP) sensor and pull timing when you start to build boost if you are having knocking issues.

No knocking or pinging
Pulls hard
But gets a 150 miles to a tank now
