test mode connector wiring.

hi everyone. I'm having a problem identifying where the wire from the test mode connector (green diagnostic connector) leads. i have a 91 used legacy ss ej22t. when i bought the car the brown wire leading from the ecu to the green connector was intact but shortly after the green connector the wire (now black with red stripe) is broken and i can't determine where it leads. if someone can give me some clues to the where it leads i can solder it up and be on my way. cheers

Welcome to the BBS Trevor.
The other end of both the test & read memory connectors go to ground. These are the engine wiring diagrams for the 90 Legacy non-turbo engine, but have the info that shows what you're looking for. Pages 2 & 4 are what you want to look at.
