Alternator Type (What year & model am I from?)

So as I mentioned in my build thread I was going to the airport this past Monday and noticed my interior lights were dim and then the alternator lights came on.

Anyway, I know I have an alternator issue. I'm trying to get the HO alternator repaired, but would like a spare one in the mean time so the car is still drivable. I have a spare alternator however the back cover is larger and doesn't clear the oil pressure sensor I installed. So I'm looking for some help in trying to identify and find a spare alternator for me to use.

The HO alternator has a two wire electrical connector. I think the 02 WRX 2000+ Legacy have a three wire connector, so I think that leaves the 95-99 Legacy and 93-01 Impreza. However, as we've all discovered a time or two, Subaru does some weird stuff with what they offer on certain years and models (MT vs. AT). So any help you can provide is appreciated.

Here are pictures of the disassmebly.

Thanks

I did some more research and I believe this particular shape alternator came on the 93-98 Impreza and 98 Forester. So I'll start a thread in the Parts Shed to see if anyone has one.

Hey Josh, just a heads up. I have a 95 impreza with the OBD2 setup. This also had the 3 wire connector. It did not work in my 93 NA wagon.
