Ej22t non turbo build

I'm interested in doing the ej22turbo motor due to forged internals and piston oil squirters but need it to be non turbo due to expenses and car configuration. And I already have the motor. Can i build it with n/a heads and have good compression?? Or is there another good way to build this type of setup??? Thanks guys

The crank is forged, like all other ej engines. The rest, is not. Also, the 22t pistons make for a low compression build, so those have to go.

Honestly, I don't think you're gaining anything by going with the ej22t engine. The turbo cams won't be the ideal setup for a non-turbo setup. If you don't want to go turbo, then just stick with the non-turbo ej22 engine.

There really is no point. You might as well just do a 25D/22 hybrid 'frankenmotor'.

Ok. Thanks guys. The only bummer for me is only having turbo motors. Haha. Suppose this car might just have to be unnaturally aspirated.
