As the situation stands found a ripping deal on this car, now the dilemma. It doesn't run.
Story time...
Owner had it runni g just fine then one day wouldnt run when he went out one morning before work. Went to a shop and they gave some BS story that the whole harness had to come out was going to cost over a grand yadda yadda yadda...which is hard to believe. Anyways...

Car will turn over but won't run. New distributor, new plugs, new wires, new coil, new battery. Couple of clicks of the key and it sounds like it needs jumped....tried that and doesn't work.
Tested spark on all cylinders, yes you can see the ark.
Based on his "analysis" it was suggested a new ignition module is needed but I think there's more to it. .

2- we have air.

3- im betting its fuel related, pump turns on since you can hear it.
Going to get a fuel pressure gauge and see if that's the problem.

Any other suggestions?????
Tia

you could always pop off the fuel line and make sure fuel is actually getting to the engine, just because the pump makes noise doesn't mean its actually working properly.

...yaaa that's something I overlooked.
I'll take possession of it next week that's when I can get more time to check things off the list to track it down

I have a healthy fear of RX turbo engines. My buddy spent $16k on his rebuild. Car was insanely fast. Lasted a day before the crank bearing oozed out of the front. So he rebuilt it again. Lasted a few days. Car was igniting when it wasn't supposed to and blew up his seals. He's on rebuild number three and about to give up.
