So I found a chunk of metal in my differential that after tearing it apart is from one of the washers on the back of the spider gears in the middle. Does anybody know where I can get a spare washer. It's such I weird shape. I went to the dealer and they don't even have a diagram of it. As far as they are concerned the diff doesn't even exist. I'm pretty sure it's equal to a jdm diff but I can't find spares for those either. Can someone help?

91 ss has a 1 year only special diff. The dealer doesn't stock stuff for it that I've looked up.

Spend some quality time looking through the 90-94 parts pdf for the part number, if the part is common to open differentials, you might be in luck

Is it just a normal Lock Washer?

Here's a diagram. The only washers shown are the ones for the sun gears, but I HAVE seen similar diff designs with washers on the planet gears.

Yah I ended up getting another same diff and keeping it for parts. I think the early jdm diffs share the same design.
