Fellow Canadians, I present you with an offer you can't refu

Hello all,
I'm sure that most of you are familiar with my '91 turbo sedan. If you're
not, I'd like to direct your attention to http://www.jonesboy.com/subaru/
I've decided to get rid of the beast. I love it, but I can't afford to
have it in the driveway anymore. The truth of the matter is that I'm not
driving it much anymore and this car needs to go to someone who's going to
appreciate it as much as I did. I'm considering a WRX in the
not-so-distant future, as well, of course.
It's got 240k kilometers on the odo, but nothing is older than 45,000km
(and I mean *nothing*, it's all aftermarket/new or rebuilt, every last
bit). It runs perfectly, it's got tonnes of power, I didn't abuse it at
all. I've got every receipt for everything I ever did to it,
modification-wise and maintenance-wise.
I'm asking $12,000 CDN for it. I don't think this is in any way
unreasonable given the investment and condition of the vehicle.
I have mechanic's references for the vehicle, as well as an appraisal at
"at least $18,000". I'd be happy to drive it anywhere to deliver it. It
comes with a spare turbocharger, the stock rims with good all-season tires
for the winter, the 17" rims with good summer rubber on them, etc.
The only reason, I might add, that I said "fellow Canadians..." is that
I've explored the possibility of bringing the car into the US, and
unfortunately Subaru didn't put airbags in the '91s, which were required by
law by the DOT (somehow overlooked?). At any rate, this means that unless
airbags are installed, she can't cross the border and be insured. If you
just want a rally car, on the other hand...
At any rate, my phone number is (250)804-4788 if you're interested, or
email me. I've got lots of pictures that aren't on the website, and we can
talk about what's gone into the car and what else comes with it (little
bits I've got lying around that I'd planned to put in, etc).
Thanks.
