91 5MT question

Got in a head on collision with somebody and now I've decided to part my sedan out. The question is, how much do you guys think my transmission is worth? somebody close to me wants to pick it up soon. What do you guys think?
While I drove it around, it shifted and worked perfectly fine. No grinds or anything. It's sitting on 220x and I've done routine fluid changes on it.

$100 or so. It's really how much you're wanting to get for it and how much someone else wants to pay for it.

That's fine and Josh is right about the price as I wouldn't pay more than 100 bucks for these transmissions either. The heads aren't worth much as well. The short block you can get up to 600 bucks for it.

Who pays $600 CJ. I have 2 i would sell for that lol. The most recent europeans to ask for block halves offered me under $300. One offered under 250. Ill keep them for that.

I sold a full short block locally for 500. The people are out there you just have to be patient. A lot of people are also exploring the 2.2 options with the 205 heads recently. Nasioc would be a big place to get more bucks.

Like I said it's really dependent on the buyer and their interest.

I don't know the costs, but you're the seller so you tell him what's included. If you're not in dire need to sell the stuff then you can tell him no thanks.

I usually see that LSD go for $100+ on it's own since it's a 1 year special. I don't know what a fair price for the whole thing would be especially if the engine might have a damaged head. So $100 for the tranny, $100+ for the LSD and whatever a good short block is worth, plus the accessories you are including. If you have a buyer right now, maybe make him a counter offer for a bit higher, and settle in the middle. Otherwise you might have to split up the engine, tranny and accessories and sit on the parts a while before they sell.

As comparison to Junkyard prices, $250 for engine complete, additional $80 for turbo included . Trans and diff is about $300.
My first 22t I purchased with no trans or diff but did have turbo, wiring, and ECU I paid $800.
It boils down to how long you want to sit on it. Cheap and be done with it, or be patient and find the right buyer for more money.
