Sealing the oil pump and cam seals 1992 Leg L Wagon EJ22

I am about to tear into to timing belt and replace all the pulleys and tensioner and water pump.
I was planning on using red hi temp permatex to reseal the oil pump, there is also a rubber O-ring?
And about the cam seals, the driver side rear appears mine may be leaking a small amount but there seem to be some mixed information out there about if there is one or not. I have heard there is but it just a different cover, I.e. does not have the two bolt and appears to just be pressed in.
And what the deal with there being a o ring as well and the seal on the front?
Thanks

Also why can't I find the front crank seal on any of the subaru diagrams? And what do ya'll think about gates parts?

There is an o-ring between the block and the oil pump. I just use oil rated permetex, I believe the Gray is the manufacturer's recommended type. Easiest way to go about this is to buy a gates timing belt/water pump kit on amazon or similar, if you haven't already. For the seals I went to a local parts store, and they stock national/felpro/etc.
There is a cam seal on the front driver side along with an o-ring that should be replaced. The passenger head has an o-ring, it is located on the back side of the engine. I can't remember about the passenger side front, if it has a seal or not. But if it does, you have to pull the cam out the back of the engine to get to it.

There are 2 o rings, one on each head (back passenger and front driver side) Also 2 cam seals, both on the front behind the cam pulleys. The front main is on the oil pump itself and easiest way is with the pump off since you mentioned sealing that up. The recommended fluid in an Anaerobic Sealant it's red and about 16-20 bucks a tube but it goes a long way.
For the driver's side head there's a piece that unbolts from the front of the head where the Oring goes, mentioned above it's behind the cam gear/inner timing cover. I believe it has 2 10mm bolts and 1 12mm bolt. It's the same on the back of the passenger side head minus the timing cover and cam gear.
Hope the information helps you!

I'll give you my two cents.....
As mentioned above the cam cap on the driver's side has an o-ring between it and the head. This typically does not need to be replaced. All that needs to be replaced is the front cam seal. The rear cam seal on the driver's side head is a rubber plug. As for the passenger side, you just need to replace the front cam seal. For the rear cam plate there is just an o-ring.
For the oil pump the Subaru recommends Permatex Ultra-Grey. Check the screws on the back of the oil pump as they sometimes become loose. I usually add a small bit of medium locktite.
There are some pictures below of the cams/heads. I've got a ton of pictures on my server, including some of the timing belt change & oil pump
