Hi,

Can anyone tell me about a map 2 chip?

I'm trying to get rid of a Sone MiniDisk headunit and have been
offered to swap for a Map 2 Chip plus a bit of cash, the guy says it
gives more boost, and removes the speed and rev cuts, runs off a
holding bracket(?) off the ECU anyone know anything more about it?
What a 2nd hand one would be worth?

Strange I was just offered a unit that would do all of this and was
programable and would also do fuel, timing, ect. I searched the web
and found that this one was only a boost controller and fuel
enrichment device made by CIVINCO. I looked for Map 2 Chip and all
that came up was a chip or something for a Sony Playstation. After my
experience I think you might want to proceed with caution but it does
sound good .
