RPM jumps up & back down

i dont know if this is a transmission issue. my (auto) transmission is shifting/jumping up and down alot. sometimes i will lose power for a quick second.

Can you elaborate on when you lose power? Do the rpm's drop?
Any chance you can take a video?

i will try and get a video. it feels like the car doesn't know when to shift. it will shift and it catches itself right after.

Does it feel more like the engine is hesitating losing power or that it won't shift?
