What front strut bar to run with AWIC

Josh answered himself with: I know whiteline makes that forward facing one, but I really don't like it. I also found this thread that shows that an STi GC bar will fit the car, but don't have confirmation on whether it'll clear the AWIC (it probably will)

Does anyone have knowledge of an actual successful installation solution proof of the original question.... a brace that fits without interfering with hood closure, cramming against the firewall or intercooler, or anything needing grinding or sledgehammering or other alteration please ?

I'm running the red Subaru SPT/STi front brace listed for the 98-01 Impreza. The part number is E4010FA000.

They sold out of that oem bar years ago, but it's not impossible that a dealership still has one floating around. I bought one maybe 5 years ago when they were selling out all the inventory. Sorry to be a bearer of bad news.

You may want to also check on Nasioc, ebay, or other used parts resellers for the strut tower bar.
