28" Glasspack fitted on the exhaust?

Anyone have any first hand wisdom on cutting the silencer off and slapping a glasspack in the middle of the exhaust after the downstream o2? I'm assuming it's gonna be pretty loud but will it sound decentish? Want to Fab up UEL headers/exhaust manifold some day too. 1997 legacy wagon ej22na. Opinions/ideas are welcome. Thanks

If you're looking to install after the downstream O2 but still in the middle pipe section that long of a glass pack may not fit. You'd want to take some dimensions. If you do that you should try to have an angled exhaust outlet on the glass pack so exhaust is being directed away from the CV boot/axle.

Yeah it actually just looked to long to Fab it on the end where the normal can type silencer is but after making crude measurements I decided it had plenty of room so I chopped the stock one off and welded the 28" glasspack on.
I gotta say I was pretty nervous about it cause I previously deleted the cats a few months ago, it wasn't bad until my silencer finally eroded through at the seam on the side. Anywho, long story short....it actually sounds pretty not too bad.
I'll see if I can't get a good audio clip on here just in case anyone is interested in trying something of this nature in their future journeys.

Thanks for the feedback and yes if you can get an audio or video clip with sound that would be great.
