Hey guys, I’ve recently discovered on my 92 GT that my passenger side rear ignition coil has a very big crack through it which is causing the car to miss fire badly. I’m struggling to find any factory spec ignition coils to replace it with. Is there any chance I can use a different coil without changing too many other things or will I have to use the same kind of coil? I know that the GC8 WRX also has the EJ20G but I believe it uses slightly different coils

Just punch the year make and model into whatever application you'd normally use and it'll be right.

The coil is the same across a ton of EJ engines. None of them got a special one. The connectors change over the years and the spark plug end changes in the 2000s, but coils for the first gen are still readily available so there's no need to worry about any of that.
