I don't really know of anyone that has done this on their turbo legacy. The design is sorta cheap.

All it is, is a bracket that bolts to the strut tower.....then you put a threaded machine bolt in the bracket backwards so the head of the bolt is resting against the MC face. Then there are two nuts you cinch up around the bracket and tighten up to help the MC not flex.

The design is soo basic. If I had a shop, I'd probably fab something up.

I don't know if I can justify around $70 though. Some have said it works and others have said they didn't notice anything.

I guess if I could find one used I'd try it out to see if it made much a difference on the first gen legacies. I've also heard they can be an unbelievable pain in the but to put on.....

But......like I said.....if anyone finds one used, I'll buy it and post a review :)

I saw one of those on one of our customers Impreza yesterday and was not terribly impressed and have an idea for something that could be better.
This Impreza is something to see it has a EJ22t block and is around 500-550hp. I will try and get a picture of it to post. Counting the three built EJ25 engines he blew before going back to the EJ22 block and the STI drivetrain he estimates that he has about $50-70,000 in it.
