I think if you check on some of the later model Outbacks and Foresters
you will find a 4.56 and a few others, at the other end of the
spectrum the SVX had something like a 3.58. On the rear diff you can
make your own LSD out of any of the stub axle type diffs by finding a
'85-'94 Loyale with LSD these were 3.7s but the LSD unit can be
removed and installed in any of the other ratios this would give you a
clutch type LSD that from what I have found is stronger than the
Viscous type in the turbo Legacy. I have all the info on how to do
this as I have done several.
