I dont see why all of you dont have more than one car. I also dont get why some of you live with a 2wd legacy....

I just got a 91 LSi with 145k miles for Seven Hundred dollars!

Its in serious need of cleaning inside, still good condition but it looks like they had a sprinkler spraying soda all over.

The sunroof leaks, the windguard on one side is broke

The purge valve is bad

The oxygen sensor needs replaced

The drivers seat is worn on the outside edge

The struts need replaced

The handle for the trunk is broke

A big 4x4 with a huge lift and big tires clipped the front, only the rubber touched the car but it peeled the bumper cover off in that corner. No broken lights though.

Otherwise the car is in great condition. The transmission is surprisingly tight for its age compared to my other cars. Both front wheel bearings and cv joints had been replaced in the last 20k. It needs the timing belt changed.

I wasnt even really looking for another car. I just happened to be searching craigslist.org and saw it.

Remember my sig change? "More soon??? " I was very close to having another BC, but a situation (which is important and I will post in here soon) came up and now the $$$ is not there, unless it will still be for sale when I get some more money...

I would have more if I didn't live in a freakin POS apartment, have no place to work on the car, no place to put another car.....the damn apt place says I can only have one car......needless to say I will be moving once I find out some more stuff with work issues.

I'd pickup a POS legacy for 1000 bucks or so....and see about stealing the drivetrain...muwahaha.

I'll sell you my POS Legacy for 1000. It has a failing headgasket and/or leaking valve seals. Also, the synchros are shot and the clutch is a goner. But, if you replaced every moving part on the car, it would run like a champ and be totally reliable!!!

rallysam: Your post doesnt make any sense. 1000 for a car with that much trouble is too much, realize the vehicle I describe is totally safe and even passes the tough california smog!

Ciper:  I was TOTALLY being sarcastic in reply to Josh's post. My car needs so many repairs that I estimate it's value is now negative. No one will buy it except for parts. I'm worried that I have to put out to pasture soon if I don't figure out some affordable workarounds :(

I dont mean to brag but did I mention I got my 94 turbo wagon for 150 bucks.?

I found her at a salvage yard. The guy there had no idea what he had on his hands. He was going to GIVE the car to me but I kept calling and harrassing him to pick up the car so I eventually offered him $150. The motor had blown rings in the #1 cylinder and also signs of detination and was basically circulating oil through the exhaust side and back through the turbo and into the TB etc. When I took the motor apart there was crude oil in every vacume hose and lots of it. Mind you, even with a "blown" motor, this car STILL RAN!!!! It was blowing a ton of white/blue smoke (not the head gasket) and actually drove itself up into the trailer. A true testiment to subaru motors I believe.
