OK Well Here goes again..i kinda get tired of saying this over and over..I
hope that one day we can actually go about and do this..

"I would love to have these and was amazed at how
low the prices he was talking about were. "

Well, OK the way it works is 5 people including myself go in on this.. If
this is done individual prices could be lower than the $200.oo mark.. But it
goes really sky high for one or 2 pieces so it's not finically reasonable to
do one or 2 pieces..

". I couldn't figure out what
happened...did these ever get made? "

Unfortunately, there WAS much interest.. but to many circumstances for all
those interested that we could never have 5 or more people onboard to make an
order..

"Could they still be? "

Yea I have to contact my guy again..but the prices are still good, only thing
is finding parts to make molds from. But that can be addressed if this is a
subject other would wish me to persue..again..

is there
any interest?

Well, looking at the poll I put up over a year ago...there are 56 interested
individuals but..i haven't been approached recently about it till now..

OK IN REVIEW..for all the new people

I was haveing a local fiberglass guy price me out work on the following parts
for the legacy..

RS Style Bumper FOR THE LEGACY
RS Style Fiberglass Hood with Vents
Fiberglass Front fenders *recomend race only*
Fiberglass Parts in general..*recomend race only*

the way it works is there is a mold cost.. 30 dollars per square foot.. a RS
bumper has 8.1 square feet of area.. which = a mold cost of $243.00

Each part will be made at 25% a quarter of the cost of the mold cost..which
is $60.75

Well, I don't have a spare RSbumper layen around how bout you? Me neither
so.. a new one to make a mold from costs *since the last time I looked*
$249.00 from the dealership..

Well, gee we're up to 552.75 for one part woo hoo..now granted for one part I
would just have a body shop MAKE the RS bumper Fit my car and be off..BUT you
want one too.. So we take a normal RS bumper Make it fit a year Legacy..make
all the mounting and shaving ahead of time..make the mold and pop out, ready
to bolt on parts you can throw on your car..woo hoo..

So..
Mold price: 243.00
part price 60.75
5people 60.75
60.75
60.75
60.75
RSBumper249.00
-----------------------------------
Equals = 795.75
divided 5 ways is: 159.15...gee an RS bumper that fits your car..for hmm
under 200 bucks..

Now I am not including shipping..cause I don't know the final weight until
it's finished..

On a side note.. my quad headlamp design for my 91 subaru wgn has come back
from the blueprint office..so now to find a machine shop..

Now.. Again if there are interested parties.. we can continue this subject..
I am always ready..

David Carter

I am still interested in the bumper for sure and possibly the hood.
BTW, somebody is selling the RS bumper skin on ebay. 6 days left. The
biddings up to $75.

Well, I am definately interested. I would actually be willing to
commit, here and now, to being in for the hood I would also be in
for the bumper. Does anyone w/ photoshop skills have any interest in
making an attempt at showing us this? As for fenders, only the
flares would interest me, and I just couldn't say without seeing them.
But anyway, I am in and committed (financially) for bumper and hood.
My only concern: was there a front end revision in 92? I have a
91...will this fit all 91-94's?
Thanks

blueprints back..I'm gonna have em made outta metal first..and than molded to
fiberglass.. I still need lights.. I'm still looking for normal and high
beams in a 3.5inch Diameter which are still a problem.. so i don't really
have much of a time table..sorry.. I will try to put up pictures ASAP.. ok

Hey, no worries on the time table, when you get them done you get them done, same goes with pics too.

Also, what types of lights are you looking for? Is the headlight going to be liike the euro style for the 95-98 legacies, with a projector beam as normal light, and flood high beam? Also, have you thought about making the low beams xenon?

I'm up for a hood again, finances are looking better and I'd better do it
before X-mass season gets here.

Gimme an addy, or pay pal would be preffered, but not necessary...
