2: what is the trannie fluid we use so i can buy the appropriate amount or

What car do you have? if it is North American EJ22t then no. if is rest of world EJ20t then yes.

Hi-you have the turbo, right? If so, your tranny capacity is 9.4 qts. or 8.9 liters. Dave @ Redline recommends the D4 fluid @ $7.95/ qt. You can contact them @ (800) 624-7958---See `ya---ROD (AZ.)

According to my US spec BC/BF factory service manuals, the EJ22T does
have an oil cooler. It is not an oil/air intercooler type, but a
oil/water type, essentially the oil passes through a jacket with
engine coolant circulating. The cooler attaches the the block, and
then the oil filter attaches to that.
