Hi all,

I've got a 1994 Legacy L sedan, and I've decided to start tuning it
up/upgrading the engine... anyway, it's a stock 2.2L auto, and I was
wondering what are some fairly simple and low cost upgrades I can
make, or at least to start down the upgrade path with? Thanks.

Exhaust always helps, even if it is just cat-back for now! Filter, as
josh says, even mould a cold air pipe through your fender and to an
opening in the front bumper. (dropped my highway revs by 600rpm at
60mph)

Then i also had mine ported and polished - $400 in australia gives
pretty good bang for your buck.

But from my point of view i feel i have wasted a bit of time
My aim is a turbo conversion with a whole new EJ20T in january.
Buying a whole front cut and putting it in. Is about $3000 here. : (
