SHORT THROW SHIFTER

Has anyone put a short shift kit on their US spec Legacy Turbo? Quick shifts
don't seem achievable with the stock 5-speed shifter.

I'm interested in the make (brandname), price and your opinion on the feel
over the OEM shifter. I find the stock shifter requires you to pause while
shifting through neutral before entering the next gear.
Would a short throw shifter have any ill effects on the tranny?

I'd recommend one from Kartboy if they make one for the turbo legacy tranny.

Jason got to it before me but I second his opinion,
just to defer any confusion it is called both the STi
short shift kit and the Subaru Performance Tuning
short shift kit. It is also the entire linkage, not
just the upper bar.
