rough idle

my car when at idle {below 1,000 rpm}runs pretty rough.its not every cycle but every second or two it seems a cylinder fires either early or late causing my engine to shake fairly severly.ive also noticed it under mild to medium boost,the car gets a little jerky like there is a miss fire.so i replaced my plugs and wire set,but its not any better
any one have any ideas what it may be ?ingition coil maybe?i'm stumped help please! thanks

Ive got three legacy that do the same thing to varying degrees. I have been able to reduce it but cant say exactly what fixed it. Im leaning towards techron and water into the throttle body as the best thing to try.

ciper, are you talkin about spraying water in the TB?
My idles rough too....I bet ya it's carbon build up in the engine......just need to get around to letting it drink some water.

Legacy777: Yeah, unfortunatly I tried multiple things at once to fix it and so I dont know exactly what did it!
Speaking of which, you wouldnt have beleived the condition of the spark plugs in my LSI. The "Tip" and "Base" both had been worn down to being completly round!

Im not really sure, the car had been maintained at the dealer but didnt receive its 129k checkup (already at 145).

water and techron in tb?not sure what you mean,ive never heard of doing this before, what do i do?thanks
