Starting on my intercooler project this weekend.

I got my STi sprayers last night . . . looking at a setup on the nasioc board I think I've got an idea. There's a venting assembly I saw at Home Depot the other week that I think will work. Just need to cut off a lot of it as I only have about an inch or two clearance from the hood to the intercooler when the hood's closed.
That being said, I think with the v2 intercooler I have I'll be able to keep the "cooling factor" for the turbocharger since part of the hoodscoop doesn't even open over the intercooler.
Gonna look at a 90-91 legacy wagon in the junkyard this weekend too. Those are the subarus with dual pumps for the windshield sprayers, right?
If all goes as planned, buy Monday I should be able to document the install for those interested. *crossing fingers*

No, seperate resovoir. You need a 96? legacy wagon

Well I tried to fabricate a hoodseal to the intercooler. REALLY TOUGH. There's only half an inch clearance from the rear of the intercooler to the hood bottom. I've got a rough piece made, just have to try to bolt it up to the hood.
As for the sprayers, I hooked them up to the windshield spray just to see the fan pattern. Pretty good. I only need two of them to cover the surface of the intercooler. So I've gotta wait till next weekend until I can get this thing finished.

just to let u know all the front windsheild wiper bottles are identical in 4 cylinder subarus. they all mount the same and fit next to the fuse box the same. the bottle has not essentially changed from the beginning of the first gen legacy till present.
only difference is the foresters, outbacks, legacy wagons, outback sports, impreza wagons have 2 pumps which is what you want. note that the first gen legacy wagons did have the separate tank in the back.
therefore a dual pump bottle should be very easy to come across!

It has its own pump, its only slightly smaller than the front.

Just ordered a dual pump reservoir . . . should be here in a couple days. Intercooler spray will be hooked up as shortly after

Just to put my 2 cents in. If you are still looking for a place to put the reservoir. Why not put it behind the bumper? That is where the most room is. Plus all you have to run is the wires and the sprayer lines. But the more that I think about it. You would have rig something up so you can fill it with ease.
