On the 92-94's, the
headlights seems to be straight and level across their top, and
although the hoods curve, they don't angle down towards the grill. I
know i did an atrocious job explaining that. Anyway, I think i wrote
down some sites with picts of 91 and 92s for people to compare. I am
really worried about this.
Well first off i still think the 91 model year still out number the other years.. (although i don't have all the differant years of those interested) so you'll be getting a 91 hood for you 91 car.. so i don't see your perticular problem.. But i can see others might be haveing this issue if they have a differant years. All i can say is from what i saw at the dealership, 92-94 all had the SAME part number for the turbo hood, 91 had a differant part number.. BUT all the hood latches, hinges, bolts, clips, etc... all had the same numbers thru all the years which means mounting points and latch points never changed.. Now i can't conferm or deny that there will be an overlap or gap in the fiberglass hood..They don't exsist.. so i cannot give you specifics about something that dosen't exsist..

I recently hit a deer with my '91 turbo and I ordered a new hood.
When it arrived I tried to fit my scoop to it but it wouldn't work.
The hood itself fit on the car with no probs. I ended up sending it
back and getting the right hood. Damn what one digit can do in a part
no. Anyways, the scoop from a '91 is slightly smaller than the '92-94
style. My car is the canadian version but I checked the part no's on
the net with a site in the states and they were the same. Hope this
helps.
Actually it does.. other that a smaller scoop (which dosen't matter anyways as ours will have it attached) it fit his car which only bolsters the fact that the hoods are interchangable..
