Im using a whiteline front and cusco rear.
Most of the front bars for subaru will work on the front, cusco might be the only rear one.

Thanks. I had my eye on both Cusco front and rear bars. Just wanted to make sure they fit.

I was just about to post about the same subject...
Im sorta cheap and I wanted strut tower bars so I decided to make my own, I am making it with 10bucks Cad worth of steel, I know I should have used aluminium for weight purposes but its too expensive and I cant weld it.
Any suggestions on a design
I already started to cut the steel

Why do you want a strut brace if you car has no other modifications? I doubt it would be very beneficial. I think you would first want to get some higher spring rates on the front and replace the struts. Then a rear sway bar.

best mod is a larger rear anti-sway bar.
Strut tower braces will probably be more noticable on our cars then some of the newer subarus since our chassis' are not as stiff.

I remember hearing secondhand accounts of rallycrosses where about half of the GC Imprezas had little cracks near the center of the windshield. The other half had strut tower bars.
Subaru put a lot of effort into making the GD much stiffer than the GC, and, remember, the GC is very similar to the BC.
