Hi Mike

if you car is a standard then there is no FWD fuse,
if not......

when you look at your engine from the front of the engine, it is on your left behind the strut mount it's black and has FWD written on the top

nope. it's an auto. yup i looked there. the only thing i've found
is a connector that i've decided is there for the air suspension if
so equiped(which btw it isn't). i'm not sure on that but i know it
sure won't hold a fuse :( i don't know what the deal is but it's
really bothering me. if it's supposed to be there but it isn't then
what? go figure eh?

If its a manual you will never find it because it just isn't there. Have you
got the manual that comes in the glove box when you buy it. If not I have a
1992 work shop manual. If its not constant 4wd I will have a look.

no it's an auto 4wd. i guess full time 4wd(no buttons or levers to
engage 4wd so..). the owners manual that came with it, along with my
haynes manual, shows the spot for the fuse but doesn't really address
a 4wd vehicle just Awd that's why i'm thinking(hoping) 4wd subys just
don't have the fuse for Fwd. I just hope i'm not missing it from my
car somehow. kinda worries me.
