Standard Boost Solenoid (long)

I didn't look to see what codes 44 and 45 are but would guess one to
be caused by the solenoid being absent. In most cases when factory
items such as relays or solenoids are removed the ECU can be tricked
by replacing the component with a resistor to "fool" the ECU. A
100-150 ohm 1 watt risistor usually works and I would try that first
but this solenoid measures 20 ohms and a 20 ohm 10 watt resistor might
be needed. The other code might have something to do with atmospheric
pressure sensing by the original pressure sensor as the way I read it
from our "detailed" service lit. on the turbo models is that the
original pressure sensor does double duty sensing atmospheric
pressure in one position of the pressure sensing solenoid ( the small
one on the same bracket) and sensing boost in the other position. I am
planning on installing a controller myself soon and may come up with
more info on this.
