So what do you guys think? is the autmatic tranny in the BC-BF a nice
setup. I am in the proscess of getting a new car and have been die
hard standard tranny. But all I can find are autos. I need a car, and
am getting s suby of the BC-BF vintage. what should I do? any oppinions?

The auto dies at around 100k, and it's not cheap or easy to replace.

I made the decision to swap mine out, but i have nothing against
automatics that work right.

If you can put at least $1500 into the price of the car and it still
looks good, go for it. It'll probably need it soon.

i have a turbo auto tranny for sale =] it has less than 100 miles driven on it and it was just rebuilt. just email me if you want to go down this route =]

Snow-I run an auto & love it. BUT, if you plan to autocross or even light rallying, I`d have to go for the 5-speed (more control over RPMs, gear selection, etc.) Mine is more a `touring` car than a racer. You pays `yo money--you takes `yo choice! Good luck---ROD (AZ.)
