I thought this might be of interest to everyone. My '98 Impreza RS's rear seat fit in my '92 Legacy Sedan Turbo. The fit is not perfect. It required a little force to install them, but I don't expect any problems. I lost trunk access via the fold down seats... but I don't mind. They look a lot better than the stock seats.
