legacycentral bbs

i have a 1992 subaru legacy wagon with a basic stock engine. it is
non turbo, is all wheel drive, and has an automatic transmission. i
need a transmission and have found one. however, it is a 1993
transmission from a turbo legacy wagon, which is all wheel drive, and
is an auto trans. the final drive ratio is 3.9 for both
transmissions. but my question is : it appears that the t.c.u. is
different, will this and other related components need to be rewired
in order to make it work ? or do you know of someone who has a trans
for sale, that will be certain to fit ?

You would require the equivalent computer for that transmission to
get all of that working correctly.

Hey Subman - where abouts are you? There is a guy wrecking a 93 AWD
wagon here in Winnipeg Canada - will check to see if he still has the
tranny if you like.
