				Choosing summer tires

I'm currently in the process of choosing summer tires for my leg. I own some impreza 7" rims, and I'm wondering which kind of tires to put on them.
I'm currently looking between:
Falken GR-b FK451 Treadwear: 280 / Traction: AA / Temperature: A
and
Kumho Ecsta MX Treadwear: 220 / Traction: A / Temperature: A
Does someone have any comment on those tires?
I'm also wondering what would you guys suggest between 205/55/16 and 225/50/16 ... (does the 225/50/16 fits a 91 BC7 correctly?)
thanks,
Sig

The 225's may be pushing things.
I've got 205's on mine, I'd like to stick some 215's under there, but I'm not sure if they'll clear or not.

Well I have 225/50-16 khumos on WRX wheels in my legacy SS with prodrive GC8 springs and they fit fine. On thing you will need to do is roll the rear fenders a bit, if you don't want to do that then stick to the 205.

I run 225/15/17's on 17x7 wheels. toyo t1s check out
www.treadepot.com pretty good prices there. I also like michelin pilot sports for street. longer tread life. but treadepot doesn't sell them and I can't find the website I likes that did. they were about 5-10 dollars per tire
more then the toyo's.

just looked 205/50/16 (which is what I would use on a 16x7 rim on a legacy) is 119 or they list a 225/40/16 for 126. either would work. 205 would accelerate a bit quicker. I don't think you could really notice any traction difference. t1s's are one of the lightest performace tires.

I'm putting some 205/55/16 BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDS tires on this summer. Nice all around tire for dry & wet, excellent grip. Then I'll get some snows for the winter like should be done on every car.
