Ever done this? (doubt it.)
Amusing "emergency fix" happened on my car today. a rear caliper locked up on the guide pin (the slide) and messed up my left rear pads. I went to replace the pads and the pin actually broke off in the caliper carrier. after a long while of work, I got what was left of the guide pin out, a...

what we have been looking at is getting dead ECUs (or ok ones, if thats the only option) that plug into cars, and setting the Megasquirt up inside the stock ECU case, using the stock plug. The first using this type is my friend's 97 2.5 gt, and from there we will work towards other vehicles being ad...

I was actually thinking about working with a friend of mine to set up a base tune map, and a plug and play connector system to go into the Legacy, and see if I might be able to get enough interest to make a tiny bit of profit assembling the system with plug and play capability... there are a few iss...

I do not have a picture of the 6/7 board, but its not that complicated, and I KNOW it works. even the jimstim (a stimulator for use building the MS) has simulated 6/7 signal wheel capability. the ford 4/edis system WILL work, but its a bad way to go. Subaru runs with a well designed system, Id rathe...

I just finished my megasquirt build, and soon will be installing in my project legacy (turbo) the build itself was as easy as they say. I bought the kit and did all the soldering of connections and everything, and when it was done, it worked... the directions were pretty detailed, and aside from a c...

so, if you were to theoretically want to plastigauge it, how would you do that on these anyway? I'm in the process of a teardown, and I haven't split one of these blocks before (I have an ej22t) and I'm throwing some upgrade internals at it, and I don't really want to do the crank and mains without ...

man, you need to just order a fender from a company who sells them... I just bought one through a friend who has a body shop in canada, and the fenders for our legacies are not that expensive...
www.crosscanadaparts.com is where my fender is coming from, just for reference.

FS (or trade) 90 legacy parts
I am willing to sell or trade nearly all interior parts from one of my 2 legacies... (maybe both cars, since my DD will probably be in a junkyard in a few months) since I am working on upgrading it right now, I can get almost anything out of it for a trade for parts I need or other stuff (even non s...

WTB: 98 2.5 gt legacy parts
my friend just bought a 98 2.5 gt, with minor front end damage due to car/deer accident and is in need of a few parts. the car is black, so black is preferable, but any color is ok since he has access to a body shop on the weekends and can do work himself to change colors... he needs the following p...
