My parents had a Toyota Previa YEARS ago...actually got smashed by a drunk driver in it....very safe car, we got creamed by this drunk, but suffered very minor physical injuries.

They recently bought a 2005 Toyota Sienna Limited and that thing is nice, very classy. Could stick a Lexus badge on the back and it would fool most people. They won't even let me touch it :( claiming "I've seen the way you drive YOUR car..." As if thats some kind of reasoning....

Working at a Toyota dealer for 3 years, I can definitely say the Previa is the best vehicle they've ever made. Period. If you find one with less than 200k miles, you've found a cream puff. A guy that does a whole lot of business with us has 3 of them, all over 200k, some 300k. No shit.

206er- Dude, go easy with the combustive cheese whiz. Do you talk to everyone like that? Does it make you feel better about yourself? Good luck with that attitude, I'm sure you'll go far in life.

Matt- You didn't seem to be offended. I hope you weren't. I have 2 rugrats myself, and when people ask if there will be anymore, I tell them the wife and I have figured out how that was happening and there won't be anymore. Most think it's pretty funny, except the grandparents.

Sorry to highjack the thread.

Well, it would be quite easy to take offense to your original post Fuzzylee. I probably would have.

I know they're a little on the gay side, but if you're only being sarcastic, use smilies to show that, just so we know what you really mean. It's hard to tell without body language or tone.

My wife wants more kids....I guess I won the lottery and nobody told me.

I don't need another rugrat ruining the interior in the MKIII.

Most hotels encourage you to take the little shampoo bottles. That way they don't have to throw them away when they are full.

Getting a minivan ain't that bad. Look at it this way, if you get one big baby-hauler which is really convenient for taking the kids, then "daddy's car" will stay "daddy's car" (ie no dirty diapers and kiddie food all over the place).

I had one, I now shuttle our 2 kids and required dog in a Legacy Wagon - Actually I have 2 of them.

Seriously, they are mostly large enough, and I really enjoy the fuel savings/drivability that having a real car affords.

The Honda is made in the US, although a great choice, the previous gen was made up here, and still good.

Many of my friends have the Toyota and Honda, good choice.

Stay away from all the american mini-vans, not reliable.

You know when you're watching a movie that makes you squirm with embarassment, like Bridget Jones' Diary? That's how I feel when I see the Saturn View.

Huh? I was under the impression that they used the Ecotech 2.2L engine.

You mean the V6 is a Honda built engine?

The old Vue didn't look half bad (in fact I thought the old Redline looked pretty cool) and yes, as best I can tell, the 4cyl Vues are the Ecotec and the V6 ones are the Odyssey engine.

But that new grill on the Vue is downright disgusting. I don't see how anyone could think that looks better than the old one.
