Looks like tons of fun. I found myself leaning left alot while watching that vid.
Owner/driver must accept liability for damages to their car? There were some nice cars out there to be racing door-to-door.

I was practically pulling myself out of the seat willing the car to get traction and turn better.
Future races should be a road course instead of the oval.

Yes, club insurance only covers damage to persons/property not involved in the race. Say, someones house. All participants and spectators are required to sign a waiver.

In the past 5 years theres been no significant contact. Theres no purse/prize for winning, so we try to keep it fun.

Very nice video - that's a sweet mustang. Favorite bit, when you get passed by the evo - "FFffuuuuuuu! Fuck your turbocharger" :D

The RX-7 was enthusiastic, if not fast. The airplanes landing right over you must have been exciting!

Love the shot of the rx7 coming out of the chicanne there, and the plane was cool, he was circling the track for a while.

Looks like a blast! I bet my Mazda3 with good tires would be pretty fun in that.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
