Made a clip of my new exhaust

Post by James614 »

In an attempt to discern how my car sounds to other people since my new exhaust, I made this clip and was surprised to find that it sounds an awful lot like it did when I had the 3" catless open downpipe. Whatever, it's WAY quieter inside the car so my wife will ride in it again :) I think I like straight-through mufflers.

Yeah that still sounds a little loud and raspy. DO you have a resonator in it?

No resonator. Its quiet enough inside the car that I don't care that its so loud outside. And honestly I like it to be loud, call me a ricer but I think loud ass exhausts are awesome as long as it doesn't intrude into the cabin too much. The average WRX with a cat-back is too quiet for my taste.
