So are there huge differences between manual and automatic transmission applications? This is for a 93 Legacy. I see listings for 4 X4 and manual vs automatic, and abs or not.
This is a non abs non 4x4 car with automatic.
So will the manual trans one work? And what are the differences between them all? Thanks.
Master cylinder ?

Re: Master cylinder ?
Weird. I have a 93, and i thought that the options were abs and non abs.
Re: Master cylinder ?
There is a difference between abs & non-abs, but there also can be (doesn't necessarily mean there is) a difference between manual & automatic because of the hill holder system.

I believe this is integrated into the master cylinder on the manual trans cars. However you should be able to use the manual master cylinder on an auto car and the hill holder just wouldn't be hooked up if it's there at all.
