I got my boost gauge mounted properly, finally. The OBX is history, the Auto Meter Phantom series gauge is in. I'm loving it, it turned out real nice. Here's some pics:

That looks good. I used the Z Series Autometer, only difference is the face is black instead of white.
I opted to put mine on the steering column, too, but in front of the tach. In the picture (linked below) it appears to block the upper range of rpm, but I had to take the picture at a low angle to fight the glare from the flash. It's placed quite well for my driving position.

Cool, I was thinking I might put my Phantom EGT there. It would be a mirror image of the BG but in the tac. I was planning to put it in the dash by the stereo but I think it would look good having double steering column gauges.

I'm thinking of getting plastic dash pods and plastic welding them into the column and partially embed them into the face (I can embed them since I have an aftermarket steering wheel that wouldn't interfere with reading the gauge).

Hahahaha, I think something popped I laughed so hard! I totally got the image in my head.
Ya, I was kinda unsure about the look too. I'll probably just stick with the aluminum face over the bottom pocket under the ash tray (no abs)for the EGT and the future A/F and oil temp. I think I'm going to mount them at an angle up towards the driver too. That'll look tight as hell don't ya think?

That sounds pretty neat Steve! It would look sweet, if you can pull it off.

If I can pull it off is right! The headlight and wiper stalks are close to the top, so that might make it a little more interesting, too. It'll still look a little Mickey Mouse head (I think I owe some royalties to Disney for saying that now) unless I also mount gauges around the lower perimeter the same way. I could probably fit one underneath on the left (right side has the horn).

Matt - Why an A/F gauge? Do you have the wideband installed? I'd just stick with the EGT and oil pressure.
Those two aren't as important, so you can have those down low looking up. I like all my gauges to be in good view, so I might get creative with fiberglass and plastic. Maybe some creative duct moving or something.
