Gangster Stuff....

Post by BAC5.2 »

I was at a local store today, like an old school appliance/hardwear/service store, and I got some stuff that is totally off the hizzy.

It's called Kano Aerokroil. I was playing with it the other day in my autotech class, and holy cow, that stuff beats the piss out of PBlaster. That stuff sucks compared to this stuff.

It is SO gangster, it says ON THE CAN: "For Industrial Use Only. Not For Retail Sale"

So super sweet.

That is all. Everyone go get some and get rid of PB forever.

Cool. Is it old, like NOS? Some of the good stuff can't be made any more, something about cancer or some crap. :)

No, it looks new and it says "NO CFC's" so it's post 70's.

I paid 12 bucks for a 10 ounce can of it. Worth every penny and then some IMO. It's probably illegal to sell retail, but whatever I got some and I'm happy :).

"Wherever there is corrosion-due to heat, salt water, chemical action, or weathering-Aerokroil will loosen frozen metal joints in a few minutes. Dissolves gum, dried grease, oil and carbon deposits, without attacking the metal. Lubricates. Resists wetting-prevents rust."

That's what it says right on the can.

I can't believe how cool this stuff is! It's like seafoam, only cooler.

Sounds like something we use at the marina as an alternative to the usual Zep product line. I'll check tomorrow. Zep 45 stuff is pretty good, too, but also industrial restricted due to aerosols. Problem with the stuff is that some cans run out of propellant almost at the beginning while other cans go to the end.

Ever get dead cans out of the box? I hate that. We use the PLS and clear grease too. All good stuff and their cleaner is absolutely kick-ass. If it doesn't come up with a lesser dilution, then you need acetone or hydrochloric acid.

I found it at a very small appliance shop. It's probably not legal to sell the stuff at stores, so you might have to look online.

Just search for "Aerokroil" or something, and you should be able to find it.
