I was so freakin mad today

Post by Legacy777 »

This mother fucking car (AWIC) is pissing me off so bad!!! I was so mad today. I get the AC issue figured out....my old gauge set was messed. Tried to get everything at least piped up. I can not for the life of me get that fucking intercooler in. I've chewed the silicone piece that connects the intercooler to the throttle body. The ONLY way this thing is going to go together is by putting the hose on the throttle body, and then bolting the throttle body on.....and I don't even know if I'll be able to get to the bottom bolts. I hate this fucking this soo much! The damn pump doesn't pump worth a shit through the radiators.....it's just a fucking trickle, so more then likely all this work will be useless once I get it hooked up.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

Hey man I know exactly how it feels to work your ass off on a car and not even be able to hear it run at the end of the day. I've got an Ej20G in my legacy and I've been working on it for the past 4 months trying to get the new ECU and shit in there and every time I fix or replace something, I find another broken part. right now its my idle air control valve, and for an unkown reason my car is running rich. I've already put about $1000 into my car (which is a lot for a damn 16 year old) and have only driven the car for a month.

not to mention my dad is getting on my ass about giving his car back because he is sick of me borrowing. So basically just thinking about my car frustrates me, but hey, just think. Once you get everything sorted out and working right its gonna be cool and oyu know it. :)

Josh, what is wrong with you?? I am perfectly calm and composed when working on my car and have NEVER lost my temper before

Seriously though, setbacks are always part of a project.

As long as your pickup is working as a DD, just take a break from it. Go see a movie, go read a magazine, go tap some ass, whatever

And look at it this way: I have my Legacy, which is an ongoing project as always, plus it's my DD, then there's the XT and its air suspension issues, then there's the 79 which... isn't even running , then there's the EJ18...

That sucks Josh... I know how you feel, although not exactly (never tried AWIC). My car projects never follow the schedule I have in my head, which is why I made sure I've got multiple vehicles. Otherwise, my blown 5MT would really seriously cause some problems and tension. Not like I'm enjoying it, but at least I can still get around and take care of day-to-day shit.

Anyway, I heavily recommend the "tap some ass" solution to the temper, guaranteed to calm you down (unless you're into angry sex  )

haha.....Yeah I think the tap some ass solution would probably work the best.....I gotta find some first...

Anyway...today went much better. I hooked up the hose to the TB, and bolted it in afterwards. It was a pain, but it worked. Let's just hope I don't have to take it apart any time soon. I spent a bunch of time fitting the PCV hoses, and pretty much have everything where it's going to be. I just need to finish up, and put hose clamps on, etc.

Oh....I was playing around with the coffee cup I bought. It doesn't work too well for the coffee cup mod. It's too large at the top. So I stuck in the tail pipe....it looked pretty funny.

That's awesome. You have a custom convergent flow exhaust tip, that's gotta be good for atleast another 5-10hp.

Glad to hear you got it all 'working' though. It'll be worth it.
