Need front bumper hardware from a 90-91 non-turbo Legacy

Post by Legacy777 »

At the very least, I need three of the big headed bolts. These guys:

http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/s ... P_8332.JPG

I think I may need two or possibly four of these bolts:

http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/s ... P_8328.JPG

I had some work done on the front bumper area and I think the shop really screwed things up. The parts book says I need 8 of the second bolt I posted, the other two hold the back of the bumper to the fender. They're bolt 16 in this diagram

http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/s ... iagram.jpg

The book says they're supposed to mount to a fender brace. You can see it in this diagram, part 8 & 9

http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/s ... iagram.jpg

However the book also says that the 90 MY was the only year to get that. So my quesiton is, how is bolt # 16 supposed to be held in place? The shop has some cheesy clip bolts. I suppose they work, but I'd prefer to get it correct.

If anyone has a 90 or 91 parts car that they could take some stuff off, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
Josh

Update:
I have 3 of the 1st and 2 of the 2nd bolts pictured. I can't answer the question about how the 2nd bolt connects as mine are just sitting in my 'extra bolts' collection.

I can send pics of them if needed.

Let me know where to send 'em and they'll be in the mail tomorrow....Monday @ the latest.

Are there no junkyards near you? I'm in Saint Louis MO and there's usally one or two old Legacies in one of the three yards I frequent.

There are, but older subarus, and especially first gen legacies are pretty much non-existent down here in Houston.
