Very nice. I've always wanted a set of those OZ rally rims.

I know it's traditional livery for the BC, but that's just fugly. The rims are sweet, but the total black/gold style just looks so 1984. The newer wing, scoop ('04 STI?) and front lip are probably what does it in for me. The are newer elements on the older car/colors.

Older than 1984. More like the early '70's, evocative of the innovative Lotus grand prix cars and later commemorative edition road vehicles. I'm surprised he didn't use the opportunity to use the hood pins to line the hood up a little better. Don't like the hood scoop or splitter much either. It would be a believable restored rally car without them.

The big scoop and Prodrive-style rear wing look out of place to me. Overall it's pretty sweet.

Got a link to more pics?

This should have been posted with a vote attached to it. Love it? Hate it? Indifferent?

I like it but I'd never want to own it. Not my style.

Props to the guy who did it. At least it's not the old ketchup and mustard scheme.

looks like a rally car, not a street car paint job for sure.

I'd drive it, just no on the street.

The scoop looks like its been installed by a shoddy mechanic but clean otherwise.

I wanna paint my car!

The JPS Lotus. I think this was the one that Ayrton Senna drove. The hommage car above looks pretty good. My only criticism is the pinstipe's a little heavy.

Other than that, I'd rock it. :)

Hopefully not Subaru's (Coloni Motori-Moderni) flat-12 F1 engine. That thing couldn't even qualify most of the time.

Yes. I was playing off the paint scheme being reminiscent of a famous F1 car and Subaru's aborted entry.
