Re: Misfire and stuttering under load.
Well... she runs smoother and the hesitation seems to be gone after swapping out the coil pack. I just filled up, so I'll be able to see if my mileage went back up from the ~21-23mpg it was down to. Oldandslow, did you install a new replacement coil pack? Definitely keep us updated, I have the exac...

Re: EJ20G/EJ22T MAP 22012AA020
I ordered it online, I don't have mileage or age unfortunately, although I do know it's used. It just didn't fix my problem so I'm selling it now.carfreak85 wrote:Mileage on the part? How old is it?

Possible cure for 22t hesitation/stumble/lack of power
I have not tried disconnecting the maf. I'm having pretty much the same issue. I don't have a boost gauge though so idk how much boost I'm pushing, its a stock tune though. That's what's frustrating is that everyone has the same symptom, but there's no common mods between any of us. I'm on an EJ20G...

Possible cure for 22t hesitation/stumble/lack of power
Hey let me know if that is the solution because I have almost the exact problem you were having. I read your other thread, I'm having the exact same issue but the only code I'm throwing is 45. I put 12V across the solenoid that switches between boost and manifold pressure and it clicks, I replaced ...

Re: ECU HELP
So does it run ok now or does it cut out when you give it more than 15-20% throttle as mentioned in your original post? Do you have wiring diagrams for the car? If not, check out the stuff you need to know forum for links to the factory manuals on my server. It cuts out still, I was inquiring about...

Re: ECU HELP
What I meant was the wiring should have needed a lot less hacking than what was done, I've fixed and figured out 90% of it, this is the only part I don't understand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk What Kris has tried to explain and what you seem to understand is that the wiring should not have ...

ECU HELP
no the 20g engine was a coil on plug setup and is wired so at the ecu. the 22t is a wasted spark setup and is wired so at the ecu. in order to run the 20g ecu in our cars, we either have to convert to a coil on plug setup, which is the way the original modifier went since you have a 20g engine as w...

Re: ECU HELP
have you looked up the stock pin out for our ecu's? id then cross reference that with the rob tune/20g ecu installation thread and you should be able to determine what is going on, or if its different, then how to fix it. you should be able to find both of those in the stickies! I have looked at th...

ECU HELP
I have a 1993 Legacy Touring Wagon, originally 2.2t with a 4eat. It was swapped to an 02/03 wrx 5 speed, then later on converted to an EJ20G from a 94 JDM WRX. It supposedly has a Rob Tunes 95 STI ECU, but the numbers match a 94 sedan (says S instead of WRX in the thread I read) of some sort that ha...
