I have a set of four OEM BBS-style spoked 16" OEM wheels from a 1998 Legacy GT for sale.

The wheels were pulled from my wife's Legacy GT wagon after she applied a nail to the sidewall of one of them. I put an extra set of WRX wheels that I had on the car and eventually ...

Doh! My bad. I didn't even think about leaving them on there. They were rusty as hell anyway. I told you that 4EAT was nice. I've never been a big autodog fan, but that one was definitely fun to drive. Always a nice break from my manuals. Point and shoot. Glad you like it.

Hahahaha... that's for the crappy driving lights. I was waiting for that question. The lights were so sucky and obnoxious that I had to find an appropriate switch for them :wink:

And yeah, those belts are annoying. They've damn near beheaded me many times.

The 2005 GT is great, but it kind of lacks character. I guess that comes with age though. I'll also miss owning a rare car like the '92. I'll have to find those production numbers, but if I remember right, they only imported 11 of them that year ...

Yeah, I wanted to get the camera out yesterday, but I decided that it wasn't a moment I would want to relive, so I didn't. As a matter of fact, I think I need therapy at this point

Ok, the ignition relay tested ok. That thing is indeed a pain to get to. I pulled it and it tested ok and I also verified that power is getting to it and I even bypassed it with a couple paper clips. It virtually inaccessable location limited my testing to that. It was too difficult to determine if ...

So the relays pretty much remained in the same place over the years then? I remember going after the fuel pump relay on my '92 and almost dislocating my shoulder. Yeah, good design. I found a bunch of your posts with regards to these relays and put them in a document for future reference.

Perhaps it's just optimism, but I have a feeling that's exactly what the problem is. Do you know of an easy way to test this relay? I can probably figure it out one way or another. I guess I could start by feeling for a click when the ignition is turned on and off. Or if this is the same part that's ...

So that could be the problem then? That crossed my mind before but fell into one of the black holes never to be seen again until just now. I'll try to find your post.

OK, I'll check. So I'm assuming that the power source for all the FI components originates in the same place that the ECU's power originates? Like at that fuse box under the hood? And the power's not running 'through' the ECU, then to the various FI components? Just want to be sure what I'm ...

OK... I purchased a replacement ECU before I had time to check 15 & 16 for current. Then I finally made it back over there to check and found that there is no power getting to those pins. The grounds tested ok for continuity and pin 42 had 12v, but 15 & 16 registered only millivolt variations while ...

I guess the owner was told (I'm assuming by the dealer parts counter) that there are three variations of the ECU for '95. Do you think that's accurate or if it really matters?

Ok, on the ECU pinout re-check from the owner of the car:

wires 15 and 16 are yellow with a green stripe
red is the backup wire

Does that sound more like it?
