The tub is galvanized steel, the engine cover is aluminum and the back end is fiberglass that was formed right onto the frame. I bought it with no motor and put in a Ford 302. I am gonna keep it ugly, kind of a fun car that...

EJ22T in an old Beetle?

I have a 1975 VW Beetle with no motor, I also have a 92SS that I may take apart because I need the tranny, has anyone here tried to stick an EJ22T in one of these cars?

Trans swap, 91 into 94, both 4eat

If I drop a 4eat from a 1991 turbo sedan into my 1994 turbo wagon (also has a 4eat) will all the wireing be the same? Do I need to swap the tcu also? I don't have the tcu from the 91. Is there any difference in the two trannys?
Would a 92 tranny be more compatable?
