I'm at UW right now, and am living up in Wedgewood.
I love how the NW is so subaru friendly,
my friend just bought a wrx after having a legacy gt for awhile, and my roomate nick and his dad have restored like 5 GLs.
Good times.

Isn't that a lil more weight than you should be towing? Naw, im towing sailboats that don't weight too much....like <500 lbs max. Usually more like 2-300 lbs. It does suck going up big hills and hauling boats out of the water up steep ramps though. Idealy I would have a different car for towing, bu...

I've had a hitch on my sube for 4 years now. And as others have said, it was never a factory option. I really don't know what I would do without one....just last weekend I towed a sailboat down to Cascade Locks in the gorge, and earlier in the year towed one down to san francisco. The funniest thing...

ah, good find :) I think that I was thinking of the typhoon truck thing. The conversation I thought I had with this guy was actually about his typhoon, and not a legacy RS :D My inner mind must have spurted that out, maybe because it was the only other older AWI turbo vehicle? I think my finals made...

car wouldn't die
So, my roommate and a friend show up at my house, are tell me that they need my help with their car. So, I leave watching "wag the dog", to walk outside. Her friend informs me that the car wouldn't shut off. Hmmm, just like my turbo timer :D . Maybe not. It was some old oldsmobile, with pe...

I put the ac line on the other side of the dog-bone engine mount. This clears it out of the way so that the intercooler will fit. Just unbolt the mount, and force the ac line on the other side. This worked for me, now 2 years down the line. Teague- I am in Seattle if you really need help. What I fou...

startup question...
Ok...Yesterday for the first time, I started my car like normal (already been through half a tank of gas) and instead of the revs holding around 1.5 K or so like normal for the first minute of startup, they immediatly dropped straight to ~400 rpm as the engine sputtered and died. I restarted it, and...

stock boost controller question.......
FYI, I have a hallman boost controller on my car. So, I noticed the other day that one of the little rubber nipples I capped off the stock boost controller with was missing ( the very top one). It has been like this a couple weeks I would guess, running ~11-12 psi the whole time. Now, I know that it...

It is kind of wierd. I don't remember there being any changes of the body style from 92-93, anybody else? I guess I'm wrong........:?: Alan also has a different interior then I have ever seen. He has the 91 looking steering wheel, and a different interior. His seats have leather on the bolsters all ...

THat would be a sweet project, just drop in the TT J-spec legacy engine. Since the postal wagon is already right hand drive, the engine should fit just fine. (it won't on any left hand drive cars without *serious* modification) I have thought about this before. The big thing for me is that they are ...
